TRANSCRIPTS AND LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION MUST BE INCLUDED FOR APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED! The Marysville Rotary Education Foundation serves the community by promoting and supporting education. The Foundation supports community-wide education goals through literacy projects and scholarships towards higher education. The Foundation strives to assist as many scholarship applicants each year as possible. All applications are evaluated using the same weighted criteria and winners are selected based on their total review scores. Foundation scholarships are awarded without regard to age, sex, marital status, race, creed, color, religion, national origin, or the presence of any mental, sensory, or physical handicap. The gift can be used anytime within a three year period following the awarding thereof; however, it must be exhausted within one year of the initial withdrawal. No scholarship or other grants will be awarded to any Rotarian; a spouse, child or grandchild of a living Rotarian. Rotarians live and work by a guideline known as the Four-Way Test. It is based on four simple questions that can be applied to every situation. It is as follows: The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do: 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? We hope you will utilize the Four-Way Test as you apply for this scholarship and as you pursue your future goals. Thank you for your interest in applying for a Marysville Rotary Education foundation Scholarship.
