NOTE – If YOU ARE CURRENTLY A COLLEGE STUDENT SEEKING AN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP, OR SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL TRAINING ("VOCATIONAL") SCHOLARSHIP, DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP. READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY. The Poulsbo-North Kitsap Rotary Foundation annually provides scholarships to qualified students. Scholarship amounts available depend on the Foundation's fundraising during the past year. Final funding amount may exceed the $8,000 amount set forth below. Total scholarship funding is spread out over three scholarship categories: (1) Current High School Seniors Who Will be College Freshmen in 2019-20 –- (a) Seniors graduating in 2019 from North Kitsap High School (“NKHS”), (b) high school seniors who are attending an accredited high school located within the geographical boundaries of the NKHS, or (c) high school seniors who are home schooled and reside within the boundaries of the NKHS. (2) Full time College (a) Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, who are permanent residents of the geographic area of the NKHS or graduates of NKHS; or (b) Full time students in their Junior or Senior academic years at Western Washington University, Poulsbo Branch, in pursuit of a four-year degree. No residency requirement regarding item (2)(b). (3) Professional/Technical Training ("vocational") Scholarships. These types of scholarships are not posted on theWashBoard.org. Please contact GARY M.
