Stimson Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship

The Stimson Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship asks students to write an essay about an individual or group of individuals from Washington state who have demonstrated civic courage on an issue of importance to the community at great personal, political or professional risk. Students who live, work or attend school in Seattle are invited to participate. A good rule of thumb is a student who can vote is Seattle is eligible to apply. Participants must intend to be, or currently be, enrolled in an accredited two-or four-year college, technical school or university for the 2017-18 school year. Graduate students are not eligible.
